Orange F.O.O.D WEEK
9 – 18 April 2021
Orange F.O.O.D Week is Australia’s longest running regional food festival and has been acclaimed as one of Australia’s top ten food festivals. The 10 day community festival is being held from Friday 9th April to Sunday 18th April 2021 and celebrates the Orange region’s diverse and high quality food and wine. It showcases the farmers who grow it, as well as the local chefs, cooks, restaurateurs and caterers that create extraordinary dishes with it.
Starting from humble beginnings in 1991, the F.O.O.D Week Association was established by a group of passionate and committed local foodies as a voluntary organisation aimed at celebrating the local producers and produce of the region. The objective of the F.O.O.D Week Association since inception has always been to promote the diverse and excellent regional produce from the district across three local government areas – Orange, Blayney and Cabonne. Its prime function is to coordinate and run F.O.O.D Week – a gourmet festival showcasing the region’s food and wine, food producers, wineries, restaurants, chefs, caterers and cooks.
As part of Orange F.O.O.D Week, the Association stages a number of major events which are designed to attract visitors to the region and promote the use of local produce. Orange F.O.O.D Week has been recognised by Destination NSW as one of the flagship events of the state and has evolved to become a gourmet festival of national standing.
After careful consideration and planning, we’re pleased to announce that Forage will be included in our festival program and will be held on Saturday 17 April 2021. The event will be run at a smaller capacity than normal and as a way of saying thank you for their loyal support shown to F.O.O.D Week this past year, tickets are available for our Friends of F.O.O.D.
If you have any questions regarding the festival, please don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 0429 841 602.
